In 2017, Miss Hilary traveled with her family to Majuro Atoll in the Marshall Islands for a medical mission trip. In the evenings she began teaching ballet to small groups of children outside the hospital. Seeing the joy and pure delight this brought to the children, she began the Majuro Ballet Program. She returned in 2019 and 2023 with her daughter, Selah, and in 2025 with Miss Sara Day and two KBA students. They have now taught over 300 kids, providing free classes and performances for the community. The Majuro Ballet Program is sponsored by Kauai Ballet Academy Foundation. 100% of proceeds benefit young dancers.
